Joshua K. Jackson is a photographer based in London, primarily working on the street. He seeks out anomalies in the city's rhythms, often leaning into the power of omission and ambiguity to shape a subjective view of the everyday.
After graduating in Economics and Corporate Finance, Joshua spent a decade in financial executive search in the City of London. In 2017, he left his career behind to pursue photography full-time. Since then, he has published three books: two monographs, Sleepless in Soho (2020) and Modern Paradox (2022), and The Art of Street Photography (2026), co-authored with fellow photographer Sean Tucker. His work also features in several group publications, including Reclaim the Street (2023) published by Thames & Hudson.
Joshua’s work has been exhibited across Europe, Asia, and the US, including at Photo London, Kyotographie in Japan, and Beijing's 798 Art Zone. It was also included in Leica's Century of Time Travel, celebrating 100 years of Leica. He is represented by George Gallery in Brighton, UK.
Alongside his personal work, Joshua undertakes commissions for advertising and editorial clients. More recently, he served as a unit stills photographer on a feature film set in London and an advertising commercial produced for heavy industry alongside Neighbourhood Film Co.
